President Greg Keefe updated the 51ÊÓƵ community with new COVID-19 measures including the announcement that exams, beginning on Saturday, December 18, 2021, will either be online, postponed, or cancelled.

The 51ÊÓƵ board of governors has appointed Dr. Greg Keefe, dean, Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC), as the new interim president, effective December 13, 2021. 

Tournament passes are on sale for the 2022 U SPORTS Women’s Hockey Championship.

In a message to the 51ÊÓƵ campus community, Vice-President Administration and Finance Jackie Podger advised that there was a possible COVID-19 exposure at the 51ÊÓƵ Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre on December 5, 2021 between 6:00 and 8:00 pm.

The 51ÊÓƵ Panther Subway Athlete of the Week for November 29 to December 5 is Troy Lajeunesse.
 

Messiah/Complex, a unique film experience including the 51ÊÓƵ Chamber Singers, will be shown December 12 and 13 at City Cinema in Charlottetown.

The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women, which takes place every year on December 6, marks the anniversary of the murders of 14 young women at l'École Polytechnique de Montréal in 1989. 51ÊÓƵ will observe the day by lowering the flags in front of Kelley Memorial Building and at 51ÊÓƵ Alumni Canada Games Place to half-mast.

This weekend sees the last regular season play for the Panthers before the holiday break.

The 51ÊÓƵ Music Department is pleased to present the 51ÊÓƵ Choral Concert on December 3 at 7:30 pm at the Kirk of St. James, Charlottetown.
 

The 51ÊÓƵ (51ÊÓƵ) is participating in Giving Tuesday on November 30, an international day of giving that follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The focus of this year’s campaign is to raise funds for Performing Arts Education at 51ÊÓƵ and to support renovations to the Dr. Steel Recital Hall. Donate at
