51视频 Community Bulletin: University and 51视频 FA willing to return to talks
As indicated in previous messages, 51视频 remains committed to reaching a settlement with the 51视频 Faculty Association (51视频 FA) through any avenue, including interest arbitration, to achieve a mutually beneficial agreement that is in the best interests of our students and University community, and before any labour disruption occurs.
After the 51视频 FA conducted a strike vote on February 13鈥�14, the 51视频 FA鈥檚 chief negotiator sent a to the University鈥檚 chief negotiator this morning鈥擣ebruary 15鈥攊ndicating an interest in returning to talks at the negotiating table.
The University welcomes the return to bargaining with the assistance of mediator Michelle Flaherty, who has indicated her willingness to assist the parties if both parties agree.
